Sheila Staton-Clifton

MAPSS President Mark Abney recently performed the ceremony at the marriage of MAPSS Secretary/Pres. Elect Sheila Clifton’s daughter Katelyn (Katie) Bennett and Mathew Smith. Katie and Matt are both recent graduates of the University of Central Missouri. Katie graduated this year with a degree in Biology/Natural Resource and Wildlife Conservation. Matt is also a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and is currently employed by Smith Electric and travels the U.S. as a technician for electric fleet vehicles.
They had a June 4th wedding at a
small church near Warrensburg, MO. Katie was precious as a bride and little
sister, Callie, was an adorable Junior Bridesmaid. It was a beautiful ceremony
and was not without a jovial comment from the preacher about who has to ‘obey’
who!
Note: Abney rockin’ the socks and sandals at rehearsal! (There were whispers about what he would wear for the ceremony.)
