To Advance The Knowledge And Wise Use Of Our Soil Resources
MAPSS Activities
Members meet annually in the fall to conduct organizational business
and to elect officers.
The meeting is held in different locations throughout Missouri.
Included are tours of the
area to learn about the local soil resource, seminars, and a
banquet.
In the spring, members take part in a float trip on one of our
fine Missouri streams. A
barbecue and a short business meeting are held the night before
the float.
Several committees within MAPSS handle the organization's ongoing
business between meetings.
