in Missouri
The Menfro soil series originated near the small town of Menfro, Missouri in Perry
County.
The major land use of Menfro is agricultural and woodland, but Menfro is also
important in urban land development
The Missouri Capitol and Governor's Mansion, the original capitol site in St Charles,
Daniel Boone's burial site, much of the upland areas of Kansas City, St Louis, Jefferson City
, Hermann, Hannibal, and Cape Girardeau are all located on Menfro Soil.
